These are all general project management questions we have or have come up. I'm closing the other issues and moving the discussion here, because I'd think many of them are quick changes and primarily involve README or other documentation updates.

@belak Do you have an idea if this should exist in a specific file? Maybe we should have a general .md file which contains several of the items in the checklist above? wondering where I should start the draft PR.

Good question - most of these would probably fit in a CONTRIBUTING.md.
