progress for: »Adding min/max/moving averages to metrics«?

I just discovered your excellently documented project! I would like to use it and try to understand it more. But I would really like to have averages for my cycling power data as the raw stream from the fit file is way to jumpy. That is what I absolutely hate from all of the other videos with overlays, in a perfect world I'd like the options of 3s, 10s and 30s average power. I was just curious how is the progress in this regard?

I do have a branch where I've moved a lot of things into a data frame.. this makes it pretty trivial to calculate moving averages. But it's a big change.

Another way to do it would be to allow a function accessor to the data, and this could be one of a number of window functions. This would work easily for moving averages and min/max so far, or within window.. but won't work for forward looking data (e.g. max for the whole trip)
