Possible to disable behavior of centering pattern view on edited row when entering values?

I'm using 0.6.5. I asked about this on the Discord but was unable to find a solution.

Any time I enter a value (note, volume, effect) in a pattern, the pattern view re-centers on the row that I have selected. I don't want this to happen. I want to just enter the values and have the view stay the same. Here is a video of my Scrolling options and what I mean:

In Modplug there is this option that can be disabled:

and in Famitracker, this option which can be enabled:

The "don't scroll when moving cursor" option in Furnace seems to be the same, but it still centers the view when entering values.

It would be really useful!
but shouldn't this be a 'suggestion'?

The reason I'm asking instead of suggesting is because I don't know if there's a setting that I'm missing. Someone else in discord said it doesn't do this for them, so I'm guessing it has to do with configuration somehow.
