Bad column rendering in mails

Steps to reproduce

open a mail with columns like "[tb-beta] [Bugzilla] Thunderbird beta bug list for 24 hour period"

Expected behavior

display mail as in TBreleases up to TB 11.0

Actual behavior

Column widths are too narrow difficult to read the mail

Is it correct to assume the first image is how it is being displayed on 12.01b?

That's right. First image with TB 12.0b1, secondimage for comparison with TB 11.0

Adding a mail to better document the problem described with the first two images ([tb-beta] [Bugzilla] Thunderbird bug list).
The attached mail is of the same type (sender, structure), just with newer content. It was saved as .eml file by TB for Windows, and then zipped to be able to attach it to the issue.

Could this be related to #9399 ?

I do not know.
But I played a little bit with theTB Daily versions:
Daily from 2025-07-01 is still ok ("old behaviour")
Daily from 2025-07-03 has the rendering problem.

So, the change must have landed within these versions.
