Can you provide some logs? Is a connection to the server being established? Do the server logs contain any information? What email server is running? Could it be #6327 ? |
Hi @kewisch , Thanks for replying to my issue. As mentioned, I have an email account set manually as IMAP. When I try to send email, I don't get any error message and the emails correctly go to the "sent" folder. When I try to send an email, I don't get any validation/message from the app. As said, I have also set the same email address to other apps (fairemail and bluemail), following the exact same setting, and via those apps I am able to send emails. I hope this helps! |
Bluehost and other providers from the same brand sometimes have issues, this is likely some interplay between TfA and Bluehost. Can you provide logs via https://github.com/thunderbird/thunderbird-android/wiki/LoggingErrors for the send process? |
Hi @kewisch , I have enabled the debuggin in the app. Now, I am not sure if I should and how share the txt file, also because it contains personal information. Please advice and thanks, |
You are welcome to XXX out the personal information and share it here if that works for you. |
Hi @kewisch , I have attached the log file in this comment. I hope I am not leaving any other sensitive data in there, but if so, I would kindly ask you to remove my file (or let me know, so that I can remove it). I hope my inputs would help fixing the issue. Thanks! |

Steps to reproduce
Hi all,
I have installed Thunderbird Android and correctly set an IMPA account.
It is not a "provider" email (eg, Gmail, yahoo, etc), it is my own email using my domain+provider.
I am able to receive emails, no problem there.
But I am not able to send any email.
After I tap "send", emails are moved to the "sent" folder, but they are never delivered (they don't go to spam).
I have also checked the settings with my provider, that hosts my email, all is correct.
Additional context.
Thanks
Expected behavior
Emails should be sent using my custom email+hosting
Actual behavior
Emails are moved to "sent" folder but they are actually not sent.
Other apps like fairemail and BlueMail work well and send the emails (using the exact same setting)
