Build time bug in `default_annotation`

The `default_annotation` is constructed when the package is build. This means that the version on CRAN comes with a version where `default_annotation$theme` is the old S3 theme, whereas a rebuilt patchwork with the new ggplot2 version gives the new S7 theme. This gave cryptic warnings that were hard to pin down.
