Limit to the payload length?

I am using MQTT Explorer to listen to topic updates on my Mosquitto broker. Some very long JSON formattet payloads is truncated to 19996 characters in the value and history view. Is this a MQTT Explorer limitation or should the viewer display the full message? According to the Mosquitto documentation MQTT imposes a maximum payload size of 268435455 bytes.

Encountered the same issue yesterday and had to flip to MQTT X to grab the payload.
Explorer is by far the better UI and simplicity for testing.
