Alternative to popover trigger:focus interaction:true

Updating flyonui from 2.1.0 I noticed that our code doesn't work anymore.

We were using the documented feature --trigger:focus --interaction:true from popover tooltips, but it was recently removed.

Is there an alternative to provide similar functionality? or will it be re-added in a newer version?

Hello @cbecker,

We previously used --trigger:focus --interaction:true to add event listeners and other interactions, but now it appears to be active by default. If using triggers like hover or click is causing any issues, please let us know.

Yes, it is causing problems. As soon as I click on the tooltip-content div, it disappears so I cannot interact with it.
I use trigger:click for this, so that the content is shown on click.

Is there anything else I need to do to make the content interactive ?

Hi @cbecker,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You're correct that the trigger click is not working, and this will be addressed in the next release.

In the meantime, if possible, please use the default hover trigger.

Thanks. The problem is that on hover doesn't work either.

The problem is not how it is triggered, but that after triggering, one cannot interact with the popover content. Since the component registers for the focus event, as soon as anything is clicked in the page (including content I want to interact with), the popover will disappear.

This was not the case in 2.1.0, and that is blocking our update to newer version. Thanks!

We removed the --interaction feature in version 2.4, but you can still use version 2.3.2, which includes a new theme.

The --interaction feature will be fixed in the next release. Thank you for your patience.
