Issues with the InsightLM frontend

Hi there loved the video it was very insightful.
I'm having issues with the website and logging in. I create the user in Kong but I cannot get logged into the actually site. I can curl to the site and get authenticated with the new user and password but not from the website itself.

Looking in dev tools in the browser it does not seem to be passing the APIKEY. It just has a 1 there instead of the key.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi @sandycrabby - what error message are you getting?

When you say its passing 1 instead of the APIKEY do you mean the Supabase Anon Key? That should be the only api key the frontend has access to.

have you tried to rebuild insightslm container?
e.g. docker compose -p localai up -d --force-recreate --build insightslm

dev tools has a 500 and the APIKEY is just the number "1". Grok suggested there was a syntax error or some off/wrong spacing as the kong.yml file was being created and the 1 is just a default thing it does if it can't read the real key properly. I hope to find time tonight to go through and double check everything.

I did go ahead and stand up another instance on a Ubuntu box that is running just fine.

My suspect is could be because of along the deployment process, either one of supabase key in .env is updated, and since the InsighstLM instance taking key from Dockerfile, it needs to be rebuilt to take the changes.
