Hi, you should try to activate the logging and maybe also the additional option to temporary log passwords inside the log: https://github.com/the-djmaze/snappymail/wiki/FAQ#how-do-i-enable-logging . There were some very special problems with password encryption but without logs it is hard to say whats going on. If you're going to post your logs please remove your passwords or don't activate the additional setting to log them😉. For the performance question maybe something here helps a bit: https://github.com/the-djmaze/snappymail/wiki/Improve-performance |

Hey there,
I just installed snappymail and I'm runing into some issues with authentication: Whenever I try to send an email I get an error saying "535 Incorrect Authentication Data". I did double check all my settings and also tried switching over to SSL, but to no avail. The "Test" button works completely fine and sais that everything is correct.
This is my current SMTP config:

Another issue I have is that compared to nextcloud mail, snappymail is really, and I mean really slow. For the mailbox and even individual mails to load it takes 15-30 seconds and up.
Edit: Slowness seems to have resolved itself, apparently something with my email provider.
Any ideas what's wrong?
Thanks!
