TeslaMate and Teslafi integration, one being a gateway for the other to access Tesla API

I use both Teslafi and TeslaMate but both sleep strategies cause conflicts.

Would it be possible for TeslaMate to use use the Teslafi as a gateway to the Tesla API? For example, teslafi exposes the api https://www.teslafi.com/feed.php?token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx but unfortunately the JSON is in a different format and its not a direct passthrough from Tesla.
