Confusion on Termux version compatibility with Android 15

Hi Termux community,

I’m a bit stuck on which Termux version I should install on my device running Android 15.

I’ve tried installing both 0.118.3 and 0.119.0-beta.3 versions from F-Droid, but both get blocked with an “incompatible with this Android version” message during installation.

I installed Termux from Google Play Store, and it worked. However, I’ve been away from Termux for a while, and I remember the Google Play version is quite outdated. Is that still the case?

Strange issue, Termux from GitHub and F-Droid can be installed on Android 16, why couldn't it in Android 15? Myself I'm running it on Android 15.
If the Play Store version could be installed, it's because it targets Android 10 (compared to original which targets Android 9) to comply with Play Store rules.
Could it be a rule on your system that blocks old applications? What is your phone's manufacturer?

I got the same with a new OnePlus 13, running on android 15. It installs ok from F-Droid, but I get the same message of "incompatible" as the OP.
