Open termux in folder using intent

I have searched a bit but could not find it. Is there a way when opening termux through intent to tell it to cd into a specific directory ? (Or run a command which would enable it).
The use case is when using xed-editor. It has a button to open termux. I would like it to open termux in the folder of the edited project / file.
