TigerVNC errors when trying to run graphic environment

Hello all, novice user here, tried following the official guide for graphical environment a couple days ago and I could've sworn it was working, but now suddenly today it is NOT working, and I don't know why.

The termux-x11 repo and all of those steps were completed, the tightvnc package is installed and running on 5901 (I checked) and the display environment variable is correctly set. Yet, still, I see this:

X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)

I'm not sure what to do. I found only one previous mention of this problem and it's somehow marked as "fixed" or completed in 2022 saying tightvnc received some kind of configuration update - but that doesn't appear to be the case here
