I run a self-hosted Matrix server and am very interested in integrating TeamSpeak 6 with my Matrix environment. In particular, it would be great if TeamSpeak 6's video channels and chat rooms could either bridge to, or directly use, my Matrix server as their backend—so users on both platforms could interact seamlessly or rooms could be shared across both ecosystems.
Is there currently any support or planned roadmap for TeamSpeak 6 video channels and chat rooms to interoperate with, or be powered by, existing Matrix servers?
Could video or chat rooms in TeamSpeak 6 potentially be configured to use a specified external Matrix homeserver for federation or bridging?
If this is not possible at the moment, will there be APIs, plugins that could help achieve any part of this integration?
Any recommendations or technical details for developers looking to bridge or synchronize TeamSpeak channels/rooms with a Matrix homeserver are much appreciated.
This level of interoperability would open up a lot of exciting use-cases for communities running both Matrix and TeamSpeak servers, especially for unified chat and video features.
Thank you for considering open standards <3
