I've tried to build CharLS with wasm64 and got compilation errors. Are there any plans to support it in future?

Hi Marian,

Thanks for question. Support to compile CharLS with wasm was initially done for the charls-js project:
https://github.com/chafey/charls-js

At that time it was hard to get wasm configured for a CI pipeline, so my only goal was to keep CharLS building amd working for wasm32. But these testing needed to be done manual.

With Wasm 3.0 available I see no problem to add support for wasm64.

Note: it may still be needed to use parts of the charls-js to get a fully working solution for a browser.
