How should the data show up in OBIS/GBIF?

Issues and concerns surrounding how biologging data will be visualized in OBIS/GBIF. GBIF currently uses the centroid of a WKT to show that kind of data to users. However, these datasets should have a basisOfRecord: HumanObservation occurrence that would have a lat/lon that can be used. Is this the best way for users to find the data?
