How to autoload tattoy on Arch Linux + ZSH?

Probably a simple question, still missing in your documentation: how to autoload tattoy in any terminal?

Of course, I could do this in my .zshrc, yet, since it involves GPU stuff and is still in early stages, I wonder what the recommendations are?

That's a really good question. I'm still waiting to see how people use Tattoy to properly document this. But basically you don't want to put this in a .zshrc/.bashrc etc because of recursive loading: your shell loads Tattoy and then Tattoy loads your shell!

If you want Tattoy to be your default "shell" then I'd recommend putting it in your terminal emulator's config. For example alacritty has a setting like terminal.shell = "tattoy".

Theoretically you could put tattoy in your system's binary path, set its permissions, and use chsh on your user. But I definitely wouldn't recommend that. Tattoy isn't a shell in the true sense (yet) and so it will probably break your system in unexpected ways.

Exactly. Good points @tombh that's why I'm reluctant to auto-start Tattoy.

Think I'll wait for Tattoy to bloom or until someone else comes with better ideas.
