There seems to be an issue when using optocoupler. Closing the issue. Updated my Alarm to newer version and was using resistors + duck-down converter. |

Hello! I'm using pretty old
DSC PC 2585
keyboard.Wiring is completed to my ESP8266 via Buck-down converter for 3.3 volts and Optocouplers for Yellow and Green wires. Pins are connected & configured for D1=Yellow and D2=GREEN (I want read-only).
However when all wires are connected - DSC physical keyboard stops working - the LED's are still on, but it does not react to button clicks. As soon as I disconnect my breadboard - it works OK.
I want to just be able to display alarm status & sensors on my Home assistant. Maybe i'm missing something here ?
