Typography plugin and Next.js image component

I've noticed that images rendered using Next.js' image component don't display as expected with the typography plugin because they get wrapped in extra divs. Has anyone come up with a good way of handling this situation, or does the typography plugin need a special case added to it? (feels dirty)
