Can't resolve 'tailwindcss' during build on Vercel

Description

I'm trying to deploy my Vite + Tailwind CSS project on Vercel, but the build fails with the following error:

error during build: [@tailwindcss/vite:generate:build] Can't resolve 'tailwindcss' in '/vercel/path0/src' file: /vercel/path0/src/index.css

This happens consistently during deployment, even though the project works fine locally.

For anyone experiencing this: For me the fix was simply to add tailwindcss with a specific version in my package.json
