React Router V7 and Tailwind CSS V4 in vite not working

I installed react router V7 and Tailwind CSS v4 with vite. But I can't get the CSS to work, It doesn't change the site. I am new to react and Tailwind. I am confused about the installation.

Check you've followed the Vite installation guide. Otherwise, you could provide a remotely-hosted git repository and we can take a look at where you've gone wrong.

I followed the installation guide but last 2 points are unclear to me. Can anyone explain it to me or dumb it down

Added the @import to index and app.css but still CSS doesn't load. Could it be a dependency issue. I can show my repository if anyone can help

Looked into it but it seems like you are never loading the App.tsx file which loads the App.css file into your app. If I change the Root.tsx file to import the stylesheet, it works as expected:

my file extensions are jsx, I haven't learned typescript
