Vue : MenuItem as a RouterLink

Hello, I'm failing to make my dropdown's MenuItem to act like a router-link, using the as prop.
This is the code i'm failing with

<MenuItem v-slot="{ active }" :as="'router-link'" :to="'/'">
             ...
</MenuItem>

I know I could just put a in the slot, but it would lead to a different behaviour.
Is there a way to achieve what I want ?
