Tab.List as select box

Hi, I'm trying to use the Tabs component to have a select box available to select the active tab. The intention is to use that on mobiles. The rendering itself works but the tab panel aren't connected to the tabs:

    <Tab.List as="select">
        <Tab as="option">Tab 1</Tab>
        <Tab as="option">Tab 2</Tab>
        <Tab as="option">Tab 3</Tab>
    </Tab.List>
    <Tab.Panels>
        <Tab.Panel>Content 1</Tab.Panel>
        <Tab.Panel>Content 2</Tab.Panel>
        <Tab.Panel>Content 3</Tab.Panel>
    </Tab.Panels>
</Tab.Group>

Is this not working by intentions or what am I doing wrong?
