How to check if Combobox.Options is opened?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to change some CSS classes when the Combobox.Options is visible. The issue is, that there is no "onChange" property defined in the docs. The only thing I can see is that the open status is passed via the rendering prop, but writing something like this seems to be very ugly and not a good programming style:

   <Combobox.Options className={classes}>
            {({open}) => {
                props.isOpen(open);
                return searchStore.suggestions.map((item) => <SuggestionsItem item={item} key={item.id}/>);
            }}
        </Combobox.Options>

So the function fires on every re-render. Is there any other solution for this?
