Is Headless UI compatible with Web components?

Hi, can't say that I'm guru of React and related technologies. So may be I'm wrong in something. But seems Headless UI is not compatible with Web components? I'm developing Chrome extension, so I decided to use them for non-overlapping CSS styles with page where Content script injected.

So, I get the problems with selecting Options in the List using mouse. With keyboard for example they are select.
Also strange problems with Tabs. I can select Tab with mouse, but unable to select it with keyboard.

I'm using this technique.
