Needed help with rchanging the ruby formatter

I checked the docs for ruby formatter: https://develop.spacemacs.org/layers/+lang/ruby/README.html#formatting . It just says how to enable the prettier.

But instead of the plugin-ruby, I wanted to try out rufo.

I found: https://github.com/aleandros/emacs-rufo, in the README of rufo's guthub repository.
But I am not sure how to integrate or is it possible to integrate with the ruby layer.
If yes, can you please point me in the proper direction?

Something like:

(use-package ruby-mode
(setq rufo-enable-format-on-save t))
?
