HTML Parsing - Is there a robust way to get the span info of the individual open/close tags specifically?

For instance given the following,

I'd like to extract the underlined spans for the open/close div and h1 tags.

(Since I'd like to use such for custom syntax highlighting based on tag nesting depth (something akin to rainbow parens but applied to the entire open/close tag pair).)
