Why notes with retrig can't have a length longer than 1 cell

Hi,

I'm coming from Logic and there is an ability to create pattern based midi regions.

And the patterns there have more or less the same functionality as Stochas. The only issue that I have with Stochas at the moment is that I'm not able to extend the length of a note and increase the value of retrig. I was using it for, for example, creating triplet drum fills. (When a note has a length of 4, but the retrig is set to 3). As I understand, it's not possible to achieve it in Stochas at all, or maybe I haven't found it out.

So my question would be: Is it possible to achieve it with the current functionality, or can the support for the longer notes with retrig be considered?
