service kafka-kafka-brokers will point to all the pods including controllers and brokers in 0.46 version?

I have used https://github.com/strimzi/strimzi-kafka-operator/blob/main/examples/kafka/kafka-persistent.yaml this to create seperate nodepools for controller and brokers , in the service kafka-kafka-brokers i see all the pods

is it correct ?

I'm not sure what fields exactly you mean. The spec.kafka.template?

The brokers service is a headless service used to give an individual DNS name to each pod, which is then used to address the pod directly. From the syntax perspective, the way you configure it in spec.kafka.template seems correct. But it makes no sense to give this service any external DNS name. And you should not use it by any clients. The addresses to be used by the clients are always listed in the .status section of your Kafka CR after the cluster is deployed. And if you wanna give any of those some custom DNS name through external DNS, it should be the bootstrap resource and the per-broker resources.

I have this in the status section , where the admin client could not be created,
