How to use the a11y add-on to highlight multiple elements on a page

I've got the accessibility add-on highlighting elements in the story, but it seems to only highlight the first element in any multi-select

I suspect that it's something to do with the way I'm putting multiple element in one story, but I'm keen to have all the combinations of a component on one page and have a 1-click in the accessibility add-on to see which combinations are too low-contrast

Example

1. I have multiple elements outputted in the story (here different sizes of a button)

2. The first checkbox highlights one element

3. The second checkbox highlights a different one

4. But having both checkboxes checked highlights only the first element

Am I missing something obvious? Or do I just need to have each different component in it's own story?
