Headless - Internal linking through entries

Hello,

I'm not able to create any internal link entries at the moment since Statamic doesn't store URLs but its own internal entry reference instead.

What I'm wondering is if it is possible to have entries somehow connected to the route/page on the headless frontend?

As an example, when I link the entries like in the screenshot above, this is how the href ends up looking:

What I would like it to look like is to just have a link to the corresponding route on the frontend ( /about-us as an example).
