Hey Brian,

The current curation code is available at : https://github.com/stat157/data-curators

More specifically, in curate,py, line 55-57, is the case where you want to add the case where format == "json" etc. You have to take this approach to not break abstraction. Take a look at the output_csv() function and model output_json() (which you will write) after that. It'll be the easiest way to go. Moreover, note that I did a few ghetto replacement to replace #YYY with YYYY, that was because the original ".catalog" files had a weird header notation.
