@kidzik, we think it might be worth thinking about hiring an iOS dev for some minor dev but that would have quite some impact. Here are a few things we have in mind (also based on user feedback):
For sure:

• make sure what you see on the screen is what is being recorded. This is not the case now, and it is quite a big difference.
• Basic instructions: "Scan the QR code on the web app," "Phone connected," "disconnect from session"

Maybe:

• detect the number of phones that are paired to the webapp
• detect if a phone got disconnected
• record depth map

I can use my grant for that. I understand that on-boarding people is a challenge and is time-consuming. So I suggest we discuss that all together, nail the skills we need, and see what makes most sense (there is Alberto too).

The nPhones connected thing makes most sense to do in the API/webapp. We'd need to document nPhones to the session, then have an https request that gets called by step 1 to ask for this number. It is likely that some status text on the iOS devices may mitigate this need.

Yeps that's what I meant with the skills, some issues would ideally require iOS and JS knowledge

I see - I don't know the freelance world well, but seems we might find a great ios dev to just do ios thing. I don't think there's any code on the ios side that would be needed to do the nPhones thing on the webapp, so that would be us or a webapp person. Regardless, that could be last priority and we see how providing cueing in the ios app helps.
