How to Customize the Order of Categories in the MkDocs Material Blog Plugin?

Hello guys!

On https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/plugins/blog/#categories, I see that mkdocs material supports sorting categories and that categories_allowed can be used to specify which categories to allow with.

Is there a way to make the blog display categories in the exact order specified in the categories_allowed list? Alternatively, is there any way to customize the order of categories in the MkDocs Material blog plugin?
