Social cards not working in Facebook?

A strange thing is happening and I want to try to ask here before I open a bug report.

I implemented social cards (community edition) and everything works fine: the cards are generated without problems, with the right colors and fonts.

Once I put the site online, the functionality is correctly interpreted on Linkedin, Telegram and Twitter, but it doesn't work (for me) on Facebook.

Whether I try to post to a profile or a page, Facebook shows the caption, but fails to load the image.

Forget it,,, it seems was just an hiccups: now it's working even in FB.

Sorry for the useless question, but I could not find a way to delete the post.

Anyway: thanks for this great script!
