Does this work with standard Arduino?

I need to use your library with 8-bit Arduino Uno / ATmega328. I took a quick look at your code, and it looked like this is meant for a different platform. Can you please confirm if this will or will not work with the 8-bit AVR platforms?

Indeed it is intended to run in Arduino-like environment for TI-MSP430/TiVa-C called Energia. TiVa-C utilizes resource-reach MCU TM4C123G.
If you find a free (unused) timer in your MCU, you could also adopt the AccelStepper the same way as I did with iAccelStepper for TiVa-C. All you need to do is hook up interrupt routine to the timer IRQ, which recalculates the next event (step).
