Reduce Dependencies #1221
Description
There are a number of dependencies in Spring LDAP that may be able to be removed at this point as they were added at various times before Spring had standardized on a common solution.
Each of the following are proposed investigations that may result in deciding to leave the dependency as is:
- Google Gson
- Apache Commons Cli
- Apache Commons Codec
- Apache Commons Lang
- Apache DS
Having fewer dependencies makes Spring LDAP simpler to maintain and also easier for applications to import.
