AppJusto is an open-source delivery platform working for a fair gig economy.

What's novel about our platform:

  • Fair relations with workers: on AppJusto, the couriers determine the value of their own services, not an algorithm. We don't add any surcharges, nor do we promote automated blocks or suspensions.

  • Low fees: we have designed a lean startup, guided by the positive social impact we want to generate in the delivery industry, therefore our commission rate from businesses is 5%. (Note: Market leader charges more than 4x of that.)

  • Stakeholder capitalism: we've raised around US$ 400k from almost 1k different investors through equity crowdfunding, in which many restaurants, couriers and consumers took part.

  • Open-source: the food delivery industry is monopolized in most countries. We hope that our codebase will bootstrap other like minded initiatives.
    Note: due to security and anti-fraud measures, our backend is still closed. All other components are licensed with Apache 2.0 with no restrictions at all.

We need your support until we become a sustainable business. We're currently doing less than 3k orders per month (the equivalent of roughly US$ 2k in monthly revenues) and we'll reach sustainability only when we hit the mark of 200k orders per month.
