Setting a Custom Non-Resolvable Causer

It would be fantastic if we could set a custom causer that is not resolved to any other models. The use case is as follows:

• A command runs daily to check the status of client contracts based on the current status, start date, and end date of the contract.
• We add a custom property named reason to the log. (i.e., ~ Contract end date has passed.)
• Since a user did not initiate the change, we want to set the causer to a string like contractStatusUpdateProcess

Currently, attempting to do this throws an exception (I'm blanking on the exact exception right now).

I would be happy to PR this if there is interest and if my time allows.

I know this may not be relevant to your idea, but I'm using 0 id user named "SYSTEM" , and I log all the system events and jobs to this user :)

We've thought about that, but "SYSTEM" just isn't specific enough for our use case. If the system kicked off a process to update contracts, we need to know that it was the contract process that caused the change.
