We’re back with another round of powerful updates and enhancements across the ARC ecosystem. This month’s spotlight includes major improvements in ARC IaC, ARC UI, and ARC API—from streamlined infrastructure modules to lightning-fast builds and CLI upgrades.

🌐 ARC IaC

✅ Observability Stack – Now with Tracing Support
The ARC Observability Stack module now includes SigNoz Community Edition—bringing together logs, metrics, and traces in one unified view.
Thanks to Vijay Stephen for this major enhancement!

Key Features:

• Deploy OpenSearch, Fluent Bit, Prometheus, Grafana, and now SigNoz—all through one Terraform module.

• Native OpenTelemetry-based tracing support.

• Simplified monitoring and debugging for Kubernetes workloads.

✅ EKS – Auto Mode Enhancements
The ARC EKS Terraform module now integrates seamlessly with ARC EKS Auto, enabling auto-scaling of clusters based on demand.

What’s New:

• Automated provisioning of EKS components.

• Built-in best practices for security and performance.

• Enhanced scalability with ARC-native auto-scaling logic.

🌀 Coming Soon – MSK Module
A production-grade ARC Terraform module for provisioning Amazon MSK clusters, including:

• Secure broker configuration.

• MSK Connect and MSK Replicator for data integration.

• VPC networking, TLS, IAM, and encryption support.

🧠 Coming Soon – SageMaker Module
A new module to simplify deployment and management of Amazon SageMaker resources.

💻 ARC UI
⚡ Farm Integration for React Boilerplate
We’ve swapped out Vite for Farm in our react-boilerplate-ts-ui to speed up build times and improve dev workflows.

What’s New:

• 🛠️ Farm-based build system with farm.config.ts

• ✅ Continued test support with vitest.config.ts

• 🖼️ Updated image handling using URL-based SVG imports

Performance Impact:

• Significantly reduced build times.

• Faster feedback loops in CI/CD pipelines. 🚀

🔧 ARC API
🛠️ Enhanced CLI Tooling

• Our CLI now supports both sl and arc as entry points—making it more flexible and intuitive to use.

🔁 Node.js Support Policy Update
To ensure optimal performance and security:

• ✅ Node.js v20+ is now officially supported.

• ❌ Node.js v18 support has been deprecated across all ARC services and packages.
