Shield cannot be dyed, please fix

The newest dlc Ideology  provides a dresser to dye characters' clothing and weapons. I noticed that Ratkin's shield was dyed successfully on the panel, but it was actually still the original color of the material in the game. Please confirm what caused it to fail. thanks
