Omics is a community in academia bringing together data from various data silo's.
Approaches developed in that domain, can be inspiring for the Soilwise efforts.

The 4 domains in Omics and common tools used.

• Genomics; repositories JGI NLM
• Proteomics; lotusdb (a triplestore linked to wikidata)
• Transcriptomics; GNPS, SIRIUS (tool to annotate compounds)
• Metabolomics; lab experiments; adding timeseries and conditions
