At ISRIC we provide a access mechanism to our Soil Observation Data based on GraphQL.
The underlying database is organized according to iso28258. The GraphQL endpoint targets a subset of the developer community, which is comfortable with aspects such as json, json-schema and GraphQL. A big benefit of GraphQL over traditional Rest API's is its query capabilities on hierarchical data structures.
We'd like to understand if GraphQL is relevant to any of the envisioned Soilwise User Communities and if it could facilitate any of the user epics. Please reply to this thread if you're interested to either:
