[Bug]: Snap 913 can't access pulseaudio...

"pulse" device no longer available for either input or output.

What should have happened?

the opposite of what did happen.

Additional comment: The AppImage for Audacity 3.0.4, as downloaded from audacityteam.org sees all available devices, including pulse. Not sure what "default" was pointed at, but the pulse device..., the sysdefault, and another USB connected device all worked as recording sources.

This still is an issue. Didn't get stable to work. Only got pulseaudio to work by installing edge and not allowing ALSA even against it complaining. Even thought record is disabled it works...

Hello, we recently updated the audacity snap to version 3.7.1 and are closing old issues (including this one) that are most likely no longer relevant.

If you would like to test the new version, it can be installed with:

sudo snap install audacity

Or if you already have the audacity snap installed and would like to upgrade from a prior version:

sudo snap refresh audacity

Feel free to re-open this issue if you discover this bug is still present, or open a new one if you uncover some other issue. We would welcome the feedback!
