Doing an Elephant's Foot Calibration. 0.02mm layers, 6 bottom layers, 119 normal layers, should produce a print of total height 2.5mm. The Calibration dialogue agrees 2.5 mm, as does the main interface with the sliced file. However when printed I get 1.84mm using digital calipers. I'm going to try troubleshoot the printer to see if it at fault somehow. But I was wondering if there might be something within UVtools that could have caused this, like setting Intrude text instead of extrude. Attached is the sliced file. System |

Nothing wrong with the file, it is made to 2.5mm total. Layer 124 = PositionZ 2.500mm I don't recommend 0.02mm nor 0.00x increments. Mimimum layer height of 0.03mm is safer in every way. Repeat the test with 0.05mm and see, some printers can lose tiny fractions of position at each lift, depends on overall quality. |

most likely your plate zero is not set at the propper height. |

Thank you all, X#msnake is correct the plate zero was not correct, I had added a magnetic flex plate but the spacer was not enough and the "squishiness" in the magnet made the force applied feel different for the correct zeroing. |
