Getting ReferenceError: KOVAN_RPC_URL is not defined when running the command yarn hardhat deploy

Please share the contents of the file where KOVAN_RPC_URL is referenced.

Create a Kovan APP via Alchemy - then put the link inside KOVAN_RPC_URL in your .env file. That will fix it. (also, note typos or forgetting to import dotenv) Cheers!
