wsl installation

i open terminal as an administrator, i tried installing wsl. wsl --install, on windows 10.
the response was "the operation timed out"

Please, what could be wrong?

Do you see the error displayed immediately? If not, it could just be a network issue and you may try running the command again if you reconnected to your WiFi.

It might be a network issue, if you are based in india do try with internet providers like airtel, idea etc other than jio
