hh compile opens up HTML help window

After doing "yarn global add hardhat-shorthand" and succesfully installing "hardhat-shorthand@1.0.0
When i run "hh compile", a HTML help window pops up which says "Can't reach this page" and my code does not compile. Just curious as to why this is happening.
