HardHat Install Error

Hello! I'm at the hardhat section of the course and

yarn add --dev --hardhat

returns

yarn add v1.22.15
error Missing list of packages to add to your project.
info Visit https://yarnpkg.com/en/docs/cli/add for documentation about this command.

Been trying to get around this but it's not working, would appreciate if someone could help. Thank you.

yarn add --dev hardhat not --hardhat
